We Raiskumans – have created a social tourism cooperative, promoting the involvement of local people in the creation and running of our tourism programmes, thus supporting the region and, at the same time, ensuring the best possible taste and quality of our events.
The main force behind our cooperation and the author of the programmes is ANDRIS GEIDĀNS – a medieval history enthusiast and researcher with more than 20 years of experience in historical reconstruction. His experience in guiding groups of tourists around the world, as well as his deep personal interest and passion for the medieval period of history in Latvia, allow him to create the highest quality tourism programmes, introducing guests to his home region – Raiskums.
We personally invite and welcome guests who wish to join one of our recreational or historical expedition programmes. Our school excursions are truly outstanding. We also call it nature therapy. See you in Raiskums!
